The history of Garage Isla Verde has its origins more than 51 years ago with a humble beginning as a service auto shop founded by Mr. Carlos M. Quinones and his wife Carmen Delia Gonzalez. Mr. Quinones was an auto mechanic by profession and studied at la Escuela Vocacional Miguel Such.

The auto shop began at his parent’s home where it gradually grew for 10 years after it opened in 1962. He was then invited by Mercedes-Benz to join a select group of distributors worldwide. The family business started and has endured for 51 years. With Mr. Quiñones tenacity and desires, he has succeeded with a company of excellence and leadership.

Since its inception 51 years ago, Garage Isla Verde has been the leader of the auto industry in Puerto Rico for the quality of its employees who represent Mercedes-Benz.
